Do you feel me?

24 10 2009

The world revolves as usual, but there is chaos within.

The future of DBSK is at stake and the situation they are facing (with their lawsuit against their agency SMEnt, and only three members are involved) visions ahead that the five will remain as one seems bleak… I understand why the other two chose not to get involved, and I have tried countless times to keep them out of the picture, consoling myself that this is probably just the strategy the five had come into agreement [that Yunho and Max stayed on the fence to at least retain some good connection with SM, while JaeChunSu battled it out] yet at the same time, I found myself asking, “Do Max, and especially Yunho (who is currently reaping all the benefits) give a thought about how much Jae Joong hopes for the five to remain eternally together?”

Listening intently to his lyrics’ composition,  slowly digesting the depth of the words in ink on his back and most recently, his chest, thinking through his words in interviews, everything seems to fit like a perfect puzzle that simultaneously shattered my heart…

Digits in time, moves ever forward,
Dim though the wretched path may be ahead,
Hope lingers, for faith shalt be rewarded.

Or so I thought.

Like a stupid fish caught in a net,
Armed with broken fins I fought.

Merciless currents slammed,
The bloody tangles diabolically grew,
In a hellish maze, I was trapped,
Between vile gold and putrid blue.

And thus,
With all my heart,
With all my soul,
With all my mind,
With all my strength,
In ninety ninety five,
I immortalized this prayer
“The pleasures of the mighty are the tears of the poor,
A song will outlive all sermons in the memory,
Hope to the End.”

For the birth of ninety ninety six…

Do you feel me?

This is reflective of Jae, with splashes of phrases he has sung in songs like Shelter, Been So Long, and Wrong Number. It pains me to see him hurt and as uncontrollable my emotions become, I wrote this…

If only I could just reach out to him that he doesn’t have to torment himself like this… If only.

‘The pleasures of the mighty are the tears of the poor’
~ Latin proverb
‘A song will outlive all sermons in the memory’
~ Giles, Henry
Hope to the End
~ Bible quote: I Peter 1:13

Recent: ‘Always Keep the Faith’ tattooed close at heart…
